HMI’s Mobile Invoice Reader Wins Award for Incentive Innovation

Elected into the Circle of Excellence for the 3rd Year in a Row by the Incentive Marketing Association, HMI Takes Home Its 4th Different Category in the Awards

NORWOOD, MA. July 25, 2019 – HMI Performance Incentives is once again proud to announce that it has won a Circle of Excellence Award, granted by the Incentive Marketing Association. The award was given in the category of “Innovation” for the use of HMI’s mobile invoice reader, Snap2Claim, in partnership with long-time client, Polyglass U.S.A., Inc.

The mobile invoice reader was integrated with QRewards, Polyglass’s customer incentive program run by HMI using a SaaS platform. This innovative capability creates a simple, convenient, and accurate invoice submission experience for the participants of reward programs, making any rebate/SPIFF program instant.

The mobile invoice reader utilizes the latest Artificial Intelligence algorithm to recognize the format of the different types of invoices, train the device (computers, tablets, mobile phones) to read what is on the invoice, then stores the data into a database for analysis. In the case of QRewards, this analysis was calculating the number of reward points that should be awarded to the contractor on eligible product sales.

The data collected can also help clients pinpoint buying behaviors such as order size, frequency, product mix and bundling, identify market trends, and even gain insights on competitor’s products such as pricing and packaging. This knowledge helps the client generate much more targeted go-to-market strategies.
